After leaving the University of Maryland, Joel Rensberger has gained over 17 years of experience in construction management across Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. From childhood to the present day (almost 35 years since he first worked with dad) he has also been working with his own hands on various projects ranging from a 1790’s home renovation to leading a ‘hyper-build’ for ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Joel has received professional training and experience from the area’s leading homebuilders, and traditional methods, values and technique from his father, and grandfather.
Joel has launched a custom homebuilding company that prides itself on openness, candor, honest work and good value. His focus is on quality site preparation and home siting, proper costing, timely completion, and superior execution of any manner of large residential projects. All the while, Joel remains open and available to the customer throughout the work week to ensure a great experience.

Having relocated personally many times, Liz Burrow has a deep appreciation for the necessity of a dedicated and professional real estate agent to assist with the process of selecting a home site through the appropriate features to be included in the particular market or neighborhood. She is able to offer C.E. Rensberger’s clients understanding and empathy throughout the entire process of buying or selling their home that can only be gained through personal experience.
Liz believes that communication is key to any successful transaction and keeping her clients informed every step of the way, making sure that they are comfortable with every aspect of the process. She too is available to clients almost always—except when attending a swim meet for her children!
Kelly is an award winning, certified Interior Design professional with 13 years experience in the model home design and merchandising industry. She holds a degree in Interior Design from Bowling Green State University. Kelly has worked with local and national homebuilders on projects ranging from urban condos to million dollar plus estate homes. She has achieved excellence in the industry with her trend forward designs and innovative interior merchandising. She has extensive background in interior color and finish selections and prides herself in maintaining high-level design standards with her comprehensive approach.
After building her very own C.E. Rensberger home with Joel’s team, Kelly brings her knowledge of color and finish selections to assist clients throughout the design process. She resides in Lake Linganore with her husband and two children.
Finance and Marketing Administrator, C.E. Rensberger & Family
Kris Mogavero joined C.E. Rensberger & Family as Construction Administrator in September of 2012. She is seasoned with over 14 years of commercial and residential construction experience. Kris wears many hats; her primary focuses are managing the builds from start to finish by tracking all construction costs, Accounts Payable & Receivable, interfacing with clients and vendors and working with various banks to help facilitate construction financing and draws.
Kris is highly detailed and well organized. With work happening at the ever changing jobsites, she is an anchor for the team and clearinghouse for all things document related.
Kris is an avid runner who also enjoys fishing, camping, reading, baseball (Go O’s!!!) and catching up with family and friends. She and her husband Len reside in Frederick, Maryland with their two children and dog.

Jim Kline has worked in the homebuilding industry in west-central Maryland for over 40 years. He brings great value and commitment to his work, demonstrated by the fact that C.E. Rensberger is only the third builder he has worked for during those 40 years! With a reputation for detail, firmness, and fairness, Jim commands respect across the region. As C.E. Jim has a degree in Biblical Studies and enjoys the ministry as well. He is also an avid deer hunter, who carefully manages the game population of Frederick County.
Construction Finance Manager
Chuck grew up in small town Hershey Pennsylvania and attended Clarion University. He’s chosen to raise his family in Frederick County, Maryland. Chuck is in tune with today’s market and is adapting constantly (thank you Chuck). The information that can be obtained through various resources can be overwhelming and confusing with lending. Chuck brings over 17 years of mortgage experience; he strives to educate our clients on the options and possibilities that exist. Chuck helps provide clarity so clients make a sound financial decision for their particular situation. Knowing that his clients have entrusted him to help handle possibly “the single biggest transaction of their lives” is not taken for granted, ever.
Chuck is a resident of Lake Linganore in Frederick County. Having two kids of his own, he understands schedules can sometimes be tough and is flexible in trying to meet the needs of his clients. When not immersed in his work, he enjoys helping coach his two sons in various sports and spending time with his family. On occasion, he may even get out to play a round of golf.
Purchasing and Permits Administrator
After a break from the workforce to devote time to her family, Cynthia reentered the construction industry with C.E. Rensberger & Family, Builder. She brings with her over 13 years experience. Her background includes both residential and commercial construction, with the majority of her experience in the residential spectrum.
Cynthia imbued efficiency and professionalism while managing the Settlements Department and the Homeowner Services Department for a semi-custom builder in the Montgomery County area. Managing homeowner contracts and change orders, performing quality inspections, working directly with field staff and the subcontractors, managing client relations, working closely with the settlement attorneys and the mortgage lenders, has afforded Cynthia the ability to see the job from all aspects, from start to finish.
