The Cumberland

The Cumberland is a plan furnished by C.E. Rensberger & Family and customized by our client. On the exterior we see charming Craftsman period elements from corbels to shake siding and a period garage door styled after a carriage house door from the early 20th century. Inside there are three full bedrooms with a master suite on the main level. There is a spacious family room-kitchen-nook area with a real woodburning fireplace that is completely open to the private rear of the home. Social gatherings will transition smoothly from inside to outside and back again via multiple glass filled french doors. By utilizing the lay of the land and a smartly placed low retaining wall in the rear, the clients will enjoy a private back yard experience, screened by a large tree-save area farther back. For future growth planned by the family, we are utilizing attic trusses to create a large but unfinished attic space.
