The Maxwell II, our next custom build, is a four-bedroom, three-and-a-half bath home just shy of three thousand finished square feet and is situated in a lakeside community east of Frederick City. The home boasts an exterior of classic Oxford blue with pine hall brick and is complimented by Craftsman features and elements. Inside, the foyer leads to both a flex room with built-ins, great for a home office or library, a generous mudroom to organize day-to-day life, and then a large open kitchen and family room. The fireplace here is a perfect gathering place and will feature a distressed knotty alder mantle and modern design features as a focal point. The finished basement provides another full office, bedroom, and play area–giving ample living space for our next family. The second level of the home features the owner’s suite, with large walk-in closets and an en suite bathroom, including both a soaking tub and a large walk-in shower.
