Located in the easternmost folds of what later becomes the Appalachian Mountains in Frederick County, this fully custom home is perched at the edge of a dramatic hill that falls down to the west. As a result, the views westward to the Blue Ridge and South Mountain are stunning. Sensible placement of windows and rooms on the interior, as well as the outdoor living, maximize the viewscape and living experience. On the inside we are pleased to have a number of very sensible features from the finished attic (affordable additional space) and high efficiency powerplant, to hot AND cold hose bibs for winter car-washing/shop-work and recessed shampoo niches in the showers.
